New Kids on the Noise

New Kids on the Noise is a musical project that speaks to all people of the musical vanguard movement that share new ways of understanding music in its simplicity, style and concept. As a pioneer project in Chile and Latin America it’s globalizing, fusing and educating people in the art of turntablist with vanguard style, as much within it’s music as in its live performances. The brains behind this new movement is Sien Strickly, also known as DJ Sien, who has developed this new concept and scene in our country which differentiates it from what is usually seen in the clubs, concerts and musical experiences. His music is a collage of Electro Hip Hop, Rock Dubstep and a sprinkle of Pop and House. All this is subject to constant turntableing fused with visual images that bring one to a greater understanding of this ‘instrument’ in the 21st century. With its synthesizer pads and heavy beats it’s more than just an audio player. The backbone of the project, turntablist, is greatly entertaining, requires great skill and years of practice though it gives the illusion of being very simple and easy to perform. Since their beginning, New Kids on the Noise has stood out by producing shows that are different, entertaining, both visually and musically without losing a beat in the complex maneuvering of their presentations. Many world-renowned brands such as Puma, Corona and Red Bull have come onboard with this project because of its innovative and educational value and because they have seen from the beginning that this project is growing and bringing new musical tendencies, style and attitude to our country and, why not say, the entire planet.
